Arrival & Departure
Guests have the option to check in online prior to arrival and check out online before they depart. Everyone arriving at our properties has their temperature checked, and all luggage is sanitized before it enters the property.
WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE FREE INTERNET APP - WHATS APP FOR COMMUNICATION WITH OUR TEAM AND YOUR FAMILY BACK AT HOME.
OUR MANAGER WILL BE GREETING YOU UPON ARRIVAL AT CHECK IN – FOR A SHORT ORIENTATION AND INTRODUCTION TO YOUR COTTAGE - DINING SERVICES, DETAILS ON EXCURSIONS & SPA SERVICES. YOUR PREFERRED NUMBER USED FOR COMMUNICATION WILL BE DELETED AT CHECK OUT

Registration/Concierge Desk and Lobby Procedures and Administration
At the Registration/Concierge Desk, when necessary we will be opening only 1 check-in station for our guests. This will be done at our Turtle Giftshop.
All staff members will wear single use disposable gloves and a mask when attending to your luggage
There will be a hand sanitizer at the Registration /Concierge Desk. There is an additional one by the Central Palapa in the lobby near the cocktail bar.
We have replaced the traditional welcome greeting of a handshake throughout the hotel with a nod of the head as our acknowledgement and welcome.
We have implemented no-touch check-in. Guests will not be required to sign a registration card and/or credit card folio. Guests will be asked to show their picture ID the front desk for proper verification.
We will not be accepting cash for payment at the resort
For Credit Card Payment you will be provided a code via WhatsApp or Email with Instructions on how to proceed with payment for any incidentals such as Excursions, Bar Tabs or Spa Services.
We have removed all magazines/books from the front desk and lobby area where it is not possible to properly disinfect after contact by any individual (guest or employee).
We are preforming twice daily sanitization of all lobby, beach & common areas. This sanitization includes and is not limited to all horizontal spaces, telephones, seating areas, doors, desks, etc.
When a guest checks out of their room, they will place their room key in a designated container at the front desk. These room keys will be properly sanitized prior to use by another guest.
We ask that only 1 guest from each family checks into the lobby at a time – this follows the guidelines of social distancing
Hotel vehicles used for airport transfers and/or excursions are fully sanitized after every journey. Our drivers follow the strictest hygiene standards and hand sanitizer is available in every vehicle.
**Use of masks is mandatory when traveling in our vehicles and transportation by boat. Hand sanitizing will be done before entering vehicles. If you require any small items before arriving into Belize, we encourage you to bring along as there will be no supermarket stops for shopping.
Reminders* Pack Extra - Hand sanitizers, Masks, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent and any prescription medication you may need during your stay.
GUEST ROOMS & DINING
Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every stay. Every room contains a personal safety kit with hand sanitizer.
Housekeeping will be under strict scheduling and procedures. You will be provided details on requests for linens. Change, towel replacement and other needs. We encourage all guests to exit rooms during the time of cleaning.
• All staff that handles food will use single use gloves on their hands without exception in addition to the required hand washing required by the local Health Department.
• Hand sanitizer is available by the coffee bar (Central palapa) for guest use.
• The utensils and napkins are wrapped for your protection.
• If doing take out of meals, each guest is encouraged to enjoy their food at their room. No food will be consumed in the lobby.
• Dining services will be offered still at our restaurant maintaining social distancing guidelines.
• Our coffee service will be available in the morning 7 AM - 10 AM, individual packaged sweeteners, individual creamers and individual plastic
wrapped coffee cups.
• There is an electric kettle provided in your room for hot water with teas and coffee press for making coffee.
If there’s anything you would like from the dining department please ask a staff member via WhatsApp and it will be provided for you. The staff will utilize the disposable glove method
Housekeeping is supplied with gloves, mask and apron.
They are taking extra care in each room and common area to sanitize any and all touch points, leaving nothing unaddressed. We are using a 3-step process to clean each room where 2 of the steps include hospital grade sanitization chemicals.
Out room attendants have single use gloves that they will be utilizing when they are cleaning your room prior to your arrival.
The toilet paper in the bathroom is placed on the toilet paper holder with the wrapper still on the roll.
As always, we are laundering all towels, sheets, blankets, duvets, mattress pads and robes utilizing before each guest checks into their room/suite. The chemicals that we are utilizing not only clean all of these items, but it sanitizes during the wash cycle with the aid of hot water.
All paper products are being replaced in the room, so that each guest receives new items before their arrival.
All touch surfaces in the rooms including the upholstery items in the room are being sanitized prior to your arrival
Our standard stays over clean each day is being suspended. This is for the safety of our guests and staff. If you need clean towels or amenities, please contact us via WhatsApp. Your towels will be delivered to your door in a sealed bag for your protection.
